Day 13: On the Road to P.E.I

We made it to P.E.I. in Canada! Prince Edward Island is about a 4 hour drive from my parents home and we finally got the chance to visit here. We hit the long, flat, Canadian Route 1 at around 11 a.m. this morning with a brief stop for lunch at a Tim Horton's.

今日から金曜まで、カナダのプリンスエドワード島に滞在します。ネイスンの両親の家から車で約4時間なのですが、私は今まで来るチャンスがありませんでした。初めてのP.E.Iです。午前11時に出発し、途中ティム・ホートンズというカナダで一番知られているドーナツコーヒーショップでランチをとりました。

Then it was over the long bridge that links the island province to New Brunswick and we took photos at the information center. Is us with our family, my mother, sister, brother's daughter, my sister's daughter, my daughter, my father and myself. (Natsuyo snapped the photo)

カナダのニューブロンズウィック州の高速はひたすらこのような道です。P.E.Iに渡る橋は13キロあり、渡った先に赤毛のアンの銅像があります。

It took another hour of driving to get to our rental house in North Rustico. This place is a touristy area!

今日から滞在するレンタルハウスは、島の北側ノースラスティコにあります。かなりの観光地で、ツアーバスなども来ていました。

My father and I found a seafood restaurant to get take out-fish burgers, a chicken burger, chicken fingers, and a set of fried fish with fried scallops. Everything came with fries, everything was deep fried. Everything was delicious! My father had to get a fry before everyone started eating!

夜はシーフードレストランのテイクアウト。フィッシュバーガー、チキンバーガーなどなど。

It's going to be an exciting week with my family in Canada!
